Comparative Analysis of Professionalism of 1st And 2nd Years of The Doctor's Professional Study Program At The Faculty of Medicine Swadaya Gunung Jati University

Background: Professionalism is the reliability and expertise in carrying out tasks so that they can be carried out very well, on time, carefully, and with procedures that are easy to understand and follow by customers. Profesionalism also reflection of a person's ability, including having knowledge, skills, being able to do something based on experience. Aim: To analyze the comparative professionalism of students in the 1st and 2nd years of medical profession study programs at the Faculty of Medicine, Swadaya Gunung Jati University. Methods: This study is a descriptive analytical study with a cross-sectional design. The sample of the study was 38 students of 1st year of medical profession study program and 38 students of the 2nd year of medical profession study program. Which was divided into a total of 38 men and 38 women. Normality test with the Kolmogorov-smirnov test. And the distribution test if it is normally distributed using the unpaired T test, and if it is not normally distributed using the Mann Whitney test. Results: The analysis results showed no significant difference between the professionalism of 1st and 2nd years of students (0.665), with a p-value of 0.665 and a t-value of -0.435. This means that there was no significant difference between the professionalism of 1st year and 2nd year medical profession study program students at the Faculty of Medicine Swadaya Gunung Jati University Cirebon. Conclusion: There is no significant difference between the professionalism of students in 1st and 2ndyears of medical profession study programs.
